CONCESSIONS, SCHOLARSHIPS AND PRIZES
Concession and Financial Help given to the Students in Colleges under Eight Heads
The various concessions, scholarships and other facilities are as under :—
1. | General Students |
For concession in fee, refer to Common Fee Concession Application Form given in the Prospectus. Half Tuition Fee concession is given to 10% of admitted students. |

2. | Half Fee Concession for Brother/Sister | Students whose elder brother/sister is paying full fee in any Govt. College of Chandigarh Administration, should apply for concession within 15 days after getting admission in their respective college / same college. |
3. | Post Matric State Scholarship Schemes for the Session 2022-23 | Free Education to Meritorious SC/OBC students |
4. | Blind Students Concession | All blind candidates shall be exempted from payment of tuition fees and admission fees in respect of all the classes. |
5. | SC/ST Students—Books & Stationery | These students are given free books and stationery. All SC/ST students are eligible for books and stationery.
Under this scheme, the Education Department, Chandigarh Administration provides free books and stationery to each SC/ST student as under :-

6. | Non Hindi Speaking Scholarships | The main object of the scheme is to encourage the study of Hindi in Non-Hindi speaking States and to make available to the Governments of these States, suitable personnel to man teaching and other posts where knowledge of Hindi is essential. Under the Govt. of India scheme scholarships are sanctioned to students from Non Hindi speaking States for Post Matric Studies in Hindi. Five scholarships are given by the Chandigarh Administration as follows :-

7. | Meritorious Students Scholarship | Under the Govt. of India National Scholarship Scheme and UT State Merit Scholarship Scheme meritorious students are given scholarship @ Rs. 100 p.m.

8. | Poor/Needy Students | Economically Weaker Students (If the income of their parents is less than Rs. One Lakh per Annum) are given financial aid out of Students’ Aid Fund & Red Cross Fund. |
