Traning
PRACTICAL TRAINING:
Three modes of Practical Training are practiced to impart training to the Vocational Course students:-

1)

Complete practical training is given
in school workshops for courses in Fashion Designing and
Clothing Construction and Textile Design- Dying and Printing.
|

2)
|
Practical Training in school workshop
is followed by training in Hospital & Hotel Industry for courses
in Ophthalmic Techniques, Medical Laboratory Technology, Hotel
Management & Catering Technology, Bakery & Confectionery and
Food Service & Management.

3)
|
Practical Training for Auxiliary
Nursing and Midwifery Vocational Course is fully under taken in
hospital situation.

ON THE JOB TRAINING:
For giving an opportunity to the students to step out of the formal and controlled environment of the school and enter the world of work and to practice the skills and tricks of trade along with the socially acceptable traits like discipline, cooperation and leadership, on the job training of 2 weeks for students of 10+1and 6 weeks for students of 10+2 is organized at different work places for all the courses.
APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING:
Of the 20 courses introduced in various Senior Secondary Schools, 14 Courses are covered under the Apprenticeship Act (1961).A stipend of Rs.1090/- per month is given to the apprentice for one year. Students after passing 10+2 Vocational Stream are sponsored as apprentices. The list of courses covered under Apprenticeship Act is as follows:-
