Free Uniform
As per the policy of the Administration it has decided to provide free Uniform to Students from 1st to
8th Class of all the Non Model Schools. White Shirt, Navy Blue
Trousers for boys and White shirt and Navy Blue Tunic/Skirt Girls are provided
for Girls. Both boys and girl students are provided grey Jersey and white
socks. Approximately 52,000 beneficiaries of Non-Model Schools are to
be provided the the above uniforms during the academic session 2006-07
involving an expenditure of Rs. 1.75 crore to be incurred on it through the
District Education Officer, UT Chandigarh being the chairperson of the said committee
constituted by the competent authority for this purpose.
